Shandong wood pallet bearing standard how to test

This wooden pallet is made of logs and is very convenient to take. It is ideal for most manufacturers. Wooden pallets are a common tool for transporting large cargoes in warehouses. Therefore, the carrying capacity of wooden pallets is often an important indicator for warehouses or enterprises to purchase wooden pallets. What is the weight bearing standard for wooden pallets? Here are the answers you want.

The weight standard of wooden pallets is the load in terms of terms. The load of wooden pallets is not an accurate data, but a plurality of data or intervals, and the bearing capacity of wooden pallets is affected by different factors, and the bearing weights are different. As the case may be. Therefore, there is currently no specific wooden pallet load-bearing standard in the industry.

The wooden pallet is in a different environment and its load bearing capacity is affected. When the wooden pallet is placed horizontally on a rigid plane and the goods are evenly laid on the wooden pallet, the relatively large weight that the wooden pallet can bear is referred to as the static load; and when the goods are evenly placed on the pallet, the pallet is in motion. The relatively large weight that we can bear is referred to as the dynamic load; in other cases, the goods are evenly placed on the wooden pallet, and the wooden pallet can withstand relatively large girders on the beam shelves or other similar shelves. The weight we call the shelf load. When loading on a wooden pallet, the load on the shelf is more important.

In addition to the environment, the load capacity of the wooden pallet has a great relationship with the way the goods are placed on the pallet. The reduction of the load-bearing area will directly reduce the load on the pallet, not the original load. For example, the European standard wooden pallets are designed according to the following cargo stacking or forklifts used: 1000kg, ordinary goods placed irregularly on the pallet; 1500kg, goods laid flat on the entire pallet; 2000kg, compact, Rules are placed on the entire pallet; when the pallet is placed on a flat, rigid horizontal surface, and the goods are evenly placed on the entire pallet surface, multiple load pallets are stacked on each other, and the bottom pallet needs to withstand an additional 4000kg. A relatively large load (total 6000kg).

So, how can we determine the weight of the wooden pallet? There are two test criteria for determining the load-bearing capacity of the pallet: one is the bending strength test, and the other is the compressive strength test. For specific test methods, you can refer to the following steps:

1. According to the form of the simply supported beam, the flat bottom tray is placed on the lower bolster beam, and the inner side of the tray stringer is aligned with the inner side of the lower bolster beam, and the distance between the inner sides of the lower bolster beam is the support distance. The lower bolster for support is a rectangular empty box that is welded by two 10-channel steels. Its length should be slightly longer than the length of the tray.

2. Then, place the two bolsters (the upper bolster) on the flange, and the support distance from the centerline of the tray panel to the sides is one quarter. The two upper bolsters are made of seamless steel tubes with an outer diameter of 76 mm and a wall thickness of 6 mm, and the length is slightly larger than the length of the tray.

3. The tray bending strength test can be carried out using a 3-5t compression tester. Other measuring instruments include a dial gauge, a moisture meter, a steel strip, a plumb bob, etc. During the test, the tray is placed on a compression testing machine, and a concentrated load is applied to the upper bolster through the pressure plate. The loading speed is 10kg/s, and when the loading reaches 1.5 times the loading of the wooden pallet, the deflection of the tray is measured in the middle of the plate.
